More Soccer

Soccer

Adriana and Megan were Captains for their
Monday night soccer game.

She also played Goalie.
One of her teammates kicked the ball,
and Adriana picked it up.
This allowed the other team to
kick the ball from where
Adriana had picked it up...
in the Goalie Box.
The Coach wasn't even aware of this
bizarre rule.

Of course, Alexis had fun with her
friends. Eden is pushing the swing.

Tuesday night, was soccer picture night.

Lori took a few before we left.
Aren't they both cute?

Trip to Idaho

The Park Family Reunion in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

The Little family left on July 16th,
which is Aunt Gayle's and Lori's birthday.

Aunt Gayle, Cheryl, Lori, and Lindsey
went out to eat to celebrate.

Cheryl licked the plate of oil,
that was meant to dip our bread in.

Lori licked the nuts on the cheesecake.

Our waitress wasn't amused when,
Lori tried to pay the bill with her
Dakota County Library Card.

On the 17th,
we all headed to the park for a
competitive game of Kickball.

On the 18th,
David got pulled over for
going 38 mph in a 25 mph zone.
the cop had NO MERCY!

Then we headed to the park,
for the Park Family Reunion.

The children enjoyed jumping in the castle.

They all had fun.

The adults played The Newlywed Game.
David and Lori,
Uncle Gregg and Aunt Marilee (winners of this round),
Grandpa and Grandma.

Daniel and Kimberly,
Uncle Brian and Aunt Gail (winners of the whole game),
Andrew and Briana.

We played "Deal or No Deal".

Daniel was Howie Man-Smell.

David was the Banker.

We called it a night around 8:30pm and
worked together to clean up.

On the 19th, we started out with
Grandma's Hotcakes... YUMMY!

Then Daniel, Kimberly, Cambria, and Danielle
had to head back to Arizona.

We busted out the Farming Game!

On the 20th, Lori did her 2nd time,
of a new tradition to donate her hair.
In honor, of those close to her who
have been affected by cancer.

She donated 11 inches!

Alexis and Natasha proceeded to "meditate",
not even Odessa could distract them.

We busted out the Farming Game again...
"OHHH DANG"!

Right before we did Smores,
Natasha and Alexis "meditated" sa-more.

On the 21st,
we caught our plane in Boise, Idaho.
The girls really enjoyed the puppy,
and the nice lady bought
them each Skittles.

It was a LONG day,
we got home at 1:00am on the 22nd.
But we traveled safely and
we are thankful for family.

Family Home Evening

We hold our Family Home Evening on
Sunday nights.

This last Sunday we played a "Prayer" game
out of the Friend magazine.
And ate cookies...YUM!

Park Fun

We went to Kelly Park the other day.

We go to the Park often,
but we have never noticed
the option to play Checkers.

David and Lori played 2 games.
Lori won 1 and David won 1.
We quit after a Tie.

Adriana is ready to run through the water.

Alexis is almost ready to run through the water.

Adriana decided against the water,
but swinging in her swimsuit was great FUN.

Alexis thought Adriana had a great idea.

Summer Learning Camp 2009

Alexis started her first day of
Summer Learning Camp.

She picked out her fanciest clothes,
this is her Preschool T-shirt.

She got her "learning" face on,
which included her "listening" ears.

She got her backpack on,
with a snack inside for later.

She even "knocked" some sense into herself.
I think that she is ready for college.

Soccer 2009

Adriana begins another
Summer of Soccer.

She takes her stretching seriously.

Here is a little "foot action".

She remembers that in soccer
you need to kick the ball.

She meets with her team and coach.

Alexis also started her Summer
of playing at random parks.

She has fun doing all sorts of things.

She always makes new friends.

Practice Day #2:
Adriana started out practicing Goalie.
All the girls thought that it would be
great fun to kick all their balls at her
at the
SAME TIME!

She still keeps on smiling.

During a "practice game", she got to be
Forward.

Alexis hung out with more friends.
