6 year old bike

Here are the girls 6 years ago.


The morning of Adriana's 5th birthday

She was sooo excited.

This is her new bicycle with training wheels.

Adriana on 2 wheels.

Alexis on the same bike 6 years later on 2 wheels.

Alexis on 2 Wheels!

Alexis decided one day that it was
time she started to ride a bike.

"Look Mom, 2 wheels."

Now, Rain or Shine, she is on
that bike going up and down the street.

Birthday Celebrations

We celebrated the girls' birthdays,
Iowa Style!

Saturday morning we celebrated at Papa's House.
Adriana REALLY wanted this CD.

Aunt Cheryl made Birthday Breakfast.
YUMMY!

The girls with their Papa Gray Shorts.

Then: Papa, Titan, Aunt Cheryl, Odessa, and Lori
went to CiCi's Pizza for lunch.

We were all happy to be there.

Odessa twirled around with joy,
as she was dancing to the music.

We all met up at Grandma Pat's house.
Here are the children in front of,
the TALL Corn stalks.
Fayth, Adriana, Alexis, Ashtyn,
Odessa, Crystal, and Titan.

Here are the 3 Little siblings,
Renae, Jodie, and David.

Then they opened gifts.
Thanks Plower Family... this is going to be FUN!

Grandma Pat is still aging gracefully,
so we celebrated her birthday too.

In Trouble?

Here are a few activities that we did to stay out of trouble.

Adriana practiced her Backstroke,
during swimming lessons.

Alexis practiced her Diving,
during swimming lessons.

Adriana and David worked on the deck...
together for their Saturday Date.

Alexis and Lori made cookies,
for their Saturday Date.

Both of the girls wanted their hair straight,
for church on Sunday...
aren't they beautiful?

Alexis' 7th Birthday

On August 8, 2009...
Alexis turned 7 years old.

She insisted on a Webkinz Party.

The decorations were put up.

Papa's birthday flowers had been delivered.

The friends arrived.

Left to Right:
Danika, Emily, Adriana, Andrew, Eden, and Alexis.

We played Gem Hunt.

They took their Kinz Cash,
and went to the Store.
Where Grandma Pat was their friendly cashier.

Then they did the Gumball game.

Busy Times, Fun Times!

Alexis and David went and flew a kite,
on a "perfect" kite flying Saturday!

Alexis had to hold on tight.

Even David flew his Sesame Street friends
high in the sky.

Then on Monday night,
David and Adriana practiced soccer,
before her game.

She would pounce on the ball,
as she practiced Goalie.

Then she practiced quickly
throwing the ball back on the field.

Good thing she practiced,
because she was the first Goalie of the night.

Alexis continues to have fun with
the siblings of Adriana's soccer friends.

Tuesday night, we did National Night Out!

Adriana took a break from all of the
neighborhood fun.

Alexis couldn't get enough!

This includes a good portion of the group,
gathered on the trampoline.

Thursday we went to Kelley Park!

Adriana, Alexa, Alexis, and Eden:

played "Don't Touch the Ground Tag."

THEN:

Adriana and Alexis invited their friends,
over for a campfire and smores.

We had a good fire started.

We set that good fire to the marshmallows.

Then gently placed the burnt marshmallow
between 2 graham crackers with chocolate.
