Cheryl's Visit

My sister, Cheryl, came up to Minnesota.

To celebrate her 30th birthday,
we went to Time Out For Women.

For lunch we feasted on:
burritos, cookies, and drinks.

For the price of,
Two thousand, six hundred, and fifty pennies!

This was our favorite speaker there.

Then we went to the Tennant's house for Game Night!

We were ready to get our "Game On".

David and I enjoyed the evening also.

Cheryl won 2 out of the 3 games she played.
Only losing one game because I was on her team.

We left really early in the morning!

Saturday Dates

This past Saturday Adriana and David spent time together.

It had already snowed a couple of days before,
but look at the missing post on the deck.

On their date, the sun was shining,
so they repaired the post.
There was a trip to Menards,
a side trip to Culver's,
and a saw and sand paper involved.

Alexis and Lori started out by coloring.
It didn't get finished until later.

Then they moved onto a puzzle.

Wait! What happened next?
She left to go play with a friend,
how does that happen?

We went to McDonald's for a play date.

We enjoyed ice cream...

Then Alexis lost ANOTHER tooth!
She literally lost it.
In the hustle of cleaning up the blood,
she put it on the counter.
No fear!
She simply wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy.
"Tooth Fairy, I'm sorry that I lost my tooth,
but I would still like a nice toy!"

She bit into a sandwich that had a pickle inside.
Apparently, that is all that was needed,
to enjoy a visit from the Tooth Fairy.

Wishful Thinking

David and Lori went away for a night...
4 years ago.

We went to a place where,
a person could watch tv while
sitting on the toilet.

We went to a place where,
there wasn't a tub,
BUT there was a glass bowl for the sink.

We went to a place where,
a very tired couple could
sleep on clouds.

We went to a place where,
the tv was attached to the wall.

We went to a place where,
there was a view of downtown
Minneapolis.

We went to a place where,
we were surrounded by skyscrapers.

We went to a place where,
we didn't have to brush Adriana's hair...
she could be SO crabby.

We went to a place where,
we missed out on faces like this...
Alexis could be SO goofy.
