Friendly Feet

My dear friend, Geralyn, and I needed some pampering.
She is just beside herself

First, we went to Inta Juice...
this was her first time.

Then we hit Heidi's Nails for this...

Some feet rubbing...

Some buffing and filing,
(note to technician: no need to smooth off all layers of flesh)

Then we got a little polish

While the nails dried, we discussed how we were going to
walk through the snow in our thin flip flops

I decided that there was no point in both of us freezing our pedicured tootsies.
So I went out to the truck and brought it to the front door.
We had a BLAST!

Valentine's Day

This year we celebrated Valentine's Day a couple of days early. The Friday before the 14th, David came home with flowers. A dozen roses for Lori and a bouquet of flowers for the girls including a rose for each of the girls. Then David took Lori out to dinner at Kami Japanese Steakhouse. It was delicious and very entertaining. They cooked your food on a hot table right in front of us.
The girls got David a book for Lori to read to him, "The 5 Love Languages of Teenagers" by Gary Chapman. We are on chapter 4, and it is really eye opening.

Alexis' Fort

Alexis went ahead and built herself a Little Fort

Here is the construction,
complete with all the things a fort needs.
2 couches, a blanket, an end table, and pillows.

She went right inside to do whatever you do inside a fort

Doesn't she look comfy cozy?

Gravity

Alexis did a poster on Gravity

Even though the poster has the word Gravity on it 5 times,
she missed a point because her poster wasn't titled.
