MOA with Emily

Since Adriana was in Florida,
Alexis got to go to Mall of America twice in 5 days!

First stop was Rainforest Cafe for dinner

That is a HUGE, OLD eel in the tank

After dinner Alexis would never think of going to MOA
without also going to Nickelodeon Universe

This time she did "Flying Dutchman"

This was her first time

She did great

and they were both so brave

Unlimited Wristbands on a Monday night

allows for so many rides with no lines

Of course, we stopped for ice cream.
Traditions are priceless!

2011 Talent Show

The church held a 2011 Talent Show

Alexis was the 1st one up

She played, "Robin Hood"

There were all kinds of crafts

and artwork

Adriana displayed two sketches

even though she was in sunny Florida

Alexis enjoyed dessert with her friends

MOA with Jenae

Since Adriana was in Florida

Alexis invited her friend, Jenae to join her at MOA

First stop...bathrooms?

After buying unlimited rides, they started right into it

They rode...

and they rode...

and they jumped in a HUGE pineapple

They posed for silly pictures

Then they rode some more

Jenae got a little wet on the Log Chute

They only rode this one 6 TIMES in a row!

Then we stopped for ice cream

Oh yeah! They kept on riding until the sun went down

Who's 33 Years Old?

Poor David...

We had to Sing/Whisper...
The girls are aware of the smoke and
cover their mouths and noses.
We only put 6 candles, if we would have done 33...
they probably would have had an extinguisher ready.

First, he turns a whopping 33 years old

Then he came home from work with a HUGE headache

We pulled him out of bed, tortured him a little,
then he went back to bed for the night.

Easter 2011

We left Minnesota late on Friday night...

but drove around the corn fields in Iowa early Saturday morning

Breakfast at Papa's house

and then back to Grandma Pat's for cuddling

Lori does not like to be HUSHED



They colored eggs

and played with legos

On our way home we were behind this van...
IT HAS AN AIR CONDITIONER IN THE BACK WINDOW!
There is silver insulation inside also...
Iowa FREAKS!

While we were gone the Easter Bunny came to our house

The girls were surprised :)

Adriana had her 1st Youth Conference

So David stayed home and worked,
while Adriana got her groove on with a boy...friend

Alexis and Lori went to Panera Bread

Alexis ordered a cinnamon roll
and Lori ordered a plain bagel with honey nut cream cheese



She is tired of the pictures and videos...
but that is what she gets for the privilege of going on a date
with the family blogger

When we left Panera Bread,
we beheld motorcyclist that REALLY want it to be Spring

We got out on the road and beheld,
a bicyclist who wanted it to be SPRING so bad...
he didn't even wear a coat.

We stopped off at Barnes and Noble
Alexis is "riding" her Heelys into the store

We didn't find the book I was looking for,
so we went to the library

Then we stopped off at Walgreens,
for a prescription and CANDY

A huge lollipop...

...which Alexis lost her tooth from biting into

Her grin is looking more Jack O' Lantern-ish

She is growing tired of the pictures and videos,
but she still smiles her toothless grin

Then we proceeded to start a kit of Amish Friendship Bread
