Summer Fun Has Begun

David and Alexis took a quick morning trip to Stillwater, MN

What more proof do you need?

They apparently saw big boats and small boats

Alexis loves to hold teddy bears,
she likes to also be held by teddy bears.

Then the Tennants invited us over to their local vacation spot
also known as Grandma's and Grandpa's place

They went fishing...

which really consisted of putting the nets in the water.
Then the fish would practically jump right in.

Jumping off of the dock was fun

Adriana still managed to cut her heel though.
Doesn't she look so sad and wounded?

They also went kayaking

Even though there were 2 kayaks,
they insisted on staying together sometimes.
Cathy and Lori sat on the deck and watched the bonding.
Thanks Cathy, the memories were made.

Bowling

For our Family Saturday Date,
we went bowling

We didn't have BUMPERS obviously

Adriana got a lesson from David the weekend before

David beat the socks off of us, which isn't saying much

Trampoline and Tumbling

She had SO much fun

She says that she wants to do this
for the rest of her life

We love that she has found something that she likes

Bread and Gerbil Obstacle

Adriana was busy baking bread from scratch

Unbeknown to Lori, Alexis was saving boxes and tubes

This "collection" went on and was hidden for over a month

She had this plan to create a "Gerbil Obstacle Course"

She succeeded, and the gerbils LOVED it

Papa's Birthday

Here is Papa before just a few of his more recent birthdays

We hope that he was attending a dance with a "western" theme

This is the LAST time Papa let Lori cut his hair
(aahhhhh the memories)

In 2009, we went to Rainforest Cafe for Papa's birthday

He got lots of birthday wishes via cell phone

The Rainforest...ers sang, "Happy Birthday to Papa"
We joined in too!
