Alexis and Amy

Alexis and Amy (Cori) live far apart,
but they try to get together every so often.

They went bowling

Alexis just got done with gymnastics,
but that didn't slow her down

They were silly

The next morning we met her and her family,
at Chuck E. Cheese

Then Amy (Cori) had to hit the road.

Summer Learning Camp

Lori went to visit Alexis on her last day of
Summer Learning Camp

We were playing a Math Game

She was not at all interested in riding home with Lori.
So she ran to her friends and rode the bus home.

Then we went bowling with Gwen

Everybody got a strike in this game.
Alexis actually got 2 strikes.

1st Soccer Game of 2011

After 2 canceled soccer games,
due to a high heat index

Adriana was 1 of the captains for her 1st game.
Here her team is on the field ready...
waiting for the other team to join them.

Adriana started out the first kick of the winning game,
the score was 1-0.

Of course, Alexis had fun with Eden.

Adriana Got a Job

Adriana has a Summer Job

First, she got her picture taken for soccer

Then as the sun was setting she started
mowing the neighbor's lawn

She actually whistled while she worked

The grass hadn't been cut since the new neighbors moved in

She is a diligent and hard worker

Bowling, El Azteca, and a Movie

First we went blowing as a family

The girls are ready to go

You can clearly tell that is was a close game...
between the girls

Adriana, Cathy, Emily, and Lori enjoyed
a daughter/mother lunch at El Azteca

Alexis and Lori went bowling,
it must have been my magical bowling ball

Alexis did pretty well for not playing with bumpers

We also went to see Cars 2 with friends:
Shelby and Maddie

Another day the girls went bowling, at this point,
Alexis was ahead and needed that documented.

Adriana tried really hard to get more pins down
than her little sister...

Didn't happen in either of the games we played

Oh well, we all had fun!

2011 Summer Soccer Season

This is Adriana's first day of practice for this season

She is the player with the pink shirt on,
they hadn't gotten their team shirts yet.

Listen carefully, this will probably be the only time
Lori will be whispering while filming.

A Day In The Little Life

When Grandma Pat and Grandpa were here...

8:30am-
Grandma Pat and Alexis reading

Adriana was still sleeping

David was hard at work with landscaping

Grandpa is getting more tools out of his
tool shed/truck

At 9:30am-
David and Grandpa were still landscaping

Grandma Pat and Alexis were helping
collect rocks for landscaping

Adriana was showering

At 12:30-
we stopped for lunch

then for the rest of the day...

Adriana's Homecoming

Adriana spent a whole week with Grandma Pat

Alexis decorated a sign for her

We made her a cake and cupcakes

When she got here, Alexis jumped on her

She really missed her BIG sister

Thanks Grandma Pat and Grandpa for letting her stay
and then bringing her back home

Alison Play Date

Alexis had a fun filled play date with her friend, Alison

First, they went bowling,
then they had a fire...
with smores

Then they enjoyed popsicles while swinging.
It was a good night :)
