2 Soccer Games

Last week, Adriana had 2 soccer games in 2 days

Adriana is #25 for her 7th Grade Soccer Team A

Even if she doesn't kick the ball,
she seems to always veer the game
off course for the other team.

Game #2 of last week was SUPER WINDY!

Adriana is kicking the ball,
there must have been a "hand ball",
or a "foul" of sorts against her.

After much review of this video,
it still appears to me that she did a "header".
However, Adriana has corrected me,
and told me it was her chest or shoulder.
"Mom, if it was my head it would have gone farther up".

Maud Hart Lovelace

Last year Adriana made this poster for her English class.

She took a picture of it,
so we could have a record of her hard work.

Adriana 13 Years Old

David and the girls attended the Daddy/Daughter Camp Out

They went fishing

They spent quality time together with nature

They enjoyed the sunset

They took a night time walk in the woods

They cooked over the fire

They set up the tent

They enjoyed the sunrise on Adriana's 13th birthday

It was a peaceful morning

While they were away,
Lori made a sign to bring in the "blessed event"

The girls posed for a quick photo

Okay, maybe 2 quick photos

After cleaning up from the camp out

Adriana opened her gifts

She got a card from her mummzy

She also got a loving card and a
thoughtful gift from the
Arizona Park family

It isn't a birthday without cake

Alexis WAS happy to have a teenage sister

It took forever to light all of the candles

Happy Birthday to Adriana!

She made a wish...
probably for World Peace

Then she did a "Happy Dance"
when she blew all of the candles out
in one breath.

First Day of School

Both of the girls started the new school year
on September 6, 2011

Adriana started 7th Grade which included:
an over-sized backpack
and her soccer gear.

Alexis started 4th Grade

She gets to bike or walk to school with her friend, Jenae.

Their friendship has grown over the last couple of years.

Yeah for school!

State of the Oven

We went to surprise my baby brother for his 30th birthday!
While we waited for him to get home we messed around.

Here is Cambria

Here is Danielle

Here is Demetri

Dan arrives home from work...SURPRISE!

Here is proof that it was HOT in AZ!

Cambria and Danielle were silly

4 girls cousins watching a movie on the couch

Adriana wasn't thrilled that she had to share a bed with Alexis.
Lexi didn't let that stop her from going to sleep.

When we went to the mall,
Titan lost his toy on the ceiling shelf.

He was glad to have it back after quite the ordeal

He shook hands with the rescuer

Here is Dan's new house

While the ladies, prepared for Dan's surprise birthday party.
The guys went to play video games.

Danielle clung to Uncle David

Dan thought that the surprises were over,
but Kimberly planned a Surprise Luau Party

We were sad to leave our AZ family

We were glad to have one last breakfast before we left though

We were glad to be able to meet Demetri

The cousins were glad to hang out together

We loved doing our Surprise Birthday Celebration in Surprise, AZ

Even though there was a 50 degree difference in temperature,
we were glad to be home to MN.

August 2011

We gladly went for a quick swim at the Lake

It is always a good relaxing time there

This time Emily was doing a spa treatment

This included "Mud Gloves" for smooth hands

Adriana LOVES the kayak

We had to tell her to come back

Louie even joined in on the sunny fun

It was cute that Adriana and Emily had the same swimsuit

After we left the Lake,
we traveled down to Iowa for a visit

First stop, was the Little family reunion

There was games to be played

There was a playground to be played,
and lots of family to visit with.

Then we went to my dad's house to trim some bushesYou can see the amazing job Lumberjack David did,
it is just too bad we didn't have the before pictures.

We ended our visit with an August birthday celebration

There was peace...

love...

and happiness

Gifts were enjoyed

Fayth joined in the festivities

Aunt Jodie was explaining what this amazing gift of
trousers were to Adriana (apparently she looked confused).

Happy Birthday:
Grandma Pat
