Misery...NOT!

Over Memorial Day Weekend,
we went to the Little Cabin.

This was our destination.

We went for a boat ride.

Adriana and Grandma Pat.

Alexis and Grandma Pat.

We went by some really nice cabins.

Then we stopped to do some fishing.
David helped Adriana cast her line.

David helped Alexis reel her line in.

Grandpa caught 6 fish that day.

Alexis is practicing her drowning technique.

The girls had a lot of fun swimming in the lake.

House Makeover

The Little House has gotten a

"face-lift".

Before...

During...

After...

Spring Fest

There is a Spring Fest for
Parkview Elementary every year.

This was the night and the girls were
excited to go.

We picked up their friends:
Alexis, Emily, Adriana, and Varsha.

They had fun going down,
the Giant Slide.

Adriana had fun kicking a soccer ball around.

Varsha and Adriana "raced".

Happy Mother's Day

Mother Doesn't Want a Dog
by Judith Viorst
Mother doesn't want a dog. Mother says they smell, And never sit when you say sit, Or even when you yell. When you come home late at night And there is ice and snow, You have to go back out because The dumb dog has to go. Mother doesn't want a dog. Mother says they shed, And always let the strangers in And bark at friends instead They do disgraceful things on rugs, And track mud on the floor, And flop upon your bed at night And snore their doggy snore. Mother doesn't want a dog. She's making a mistake. Because, more than a dog, I think She will not want this snake.

Weather

We drove through a storm,
going down to Iowa last weekend.

There is a faint picture
of a rainbow.

There was an amazing
sunset.

The clouds were dark,
but the sky was blue.

Melenie

Lori visited her dear friend, Melenie.

Here is: Elena, Lori, and Melenie.

Elena Graciela Grimm,
just 1 week old.

The happy family:
Brian, Elena, and Melenie.

Papa's Place

We spent Friday night,

and Saturday morning at Papa's house.

David opened his gifts...

The game "Camp" from Papa.

Papa helped Adriana
with David's new Wii.

Alexis and Odessa
drew pictures at the table.

Alexis also took her turn
Bowling.

Papa took his turn too.

For brunch, we ENJOYED
some "Morn Pie".

Lovingly made by Cheryl,
just for David's birthday.

Grandma Pat's

We celebrated David's 31st birthday.

He blew out 31 candles on his
Twinkie Cake!

He opened a present from the
Zahradnik family.

It was a Wii game.

Lori braided Ashtyn's hair.

Isn't she photographic?

Here are the girls in their
Easter dresses.

Can You Hear Me Now?

David and I got new cell phones...

FINALLY!

Here are our (t)rusty old phones.

Welcome us to our newest version
of communication.

Happy Easter

We had an excellent Easter together

as a Little family.

The Easter Bunny brought gifts.

The girls love chocolate...
they were apologizing with each bite.
"Sorry, about your little bunny ears."

Appointments

Both of the Little girls had appointments,

last week.

Adriana pulled her tooth out,
just in time for her Orthodontist appointment.

Alexis had her eyes checked by the Opthamologist,
and she has 20/20 vision!

"Who's Sleeping in my Bed?"

Lori went down to Iowa for a few days.

Alexis snuck out of bed and right
into Lori's spot and fell asleep waiting for daddy.

What Happened to Adriana?

Here is Adriana back before her
1st Professional Haircut.

Only 3 years later...
Adriana got her 1st
Professional Hair Highlights.

Meet Ashley
and
Adriana
(who is the cutie-pa-tootie with foil in her hair).

The highlights look...
BLONDE!

After a nice, good warshin',
Ashley styled Adriana's hair.

Adriana looks like the
pre-teen that she is trying to become.
HELP!

1st Video

We don't do many videos on our camera.
Here is the first one that I could find.
Do NOT adjust your volume,
this is from an old camera that didn't have sound.

Sweet Alexis back in her squishy days.

Spring Break 2008

Spring Break 2008

We got a few inches of snow.

Adriana enjoyed her Spring Break outside,
even with all the snow on the ground.

Oakley had fun too.
