Thursday

It was pouring rain in the morning,

BUT...

we still had fun at Universal Studios.

We went on the ET ride.

Then we made our way over to,
The Simpson Ride.

It was very "Simpson-ish".

As the sun started to come out,
we went on the Jaws ride.
Adriana was hilarious.

Titan to Papa's rescue.

At the end of our day, we watched
the Macy's Holiday Parade.

It was 1/2 an hour of:
Candy, Floats, and Men wearing tights.

On this float, she was actually ice skating.

Friday

The clouds were out...
but that didn't stop us from..

Enjoying Islands of Adventure!

Adriana and Alexis cuddle to keep warm.

The Hulk went up and down...
around and around!

Cambria loved watching the rollercoasters.

Another ride was the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman.

Alexis and Odessa stayed behind to "play" video games.

Cambria joined in the fun!

We headed off to Toon Town.

The Dramimine that Adriana took,
so she could ride the rides...
made her tired after lunch.

Pretty much sums it up.

Off to Jurassic Park.

Titan, Odessa, Adriana and Alexis pose for a quick snapshot.

Then we headed to Sinbad,
which was a very active production.
It had explosions, pirates, and treasure.

Our last stop was Dr. Suessland.

The last ride was enjoyed by:
Alexis, Adriana, Lori, and Uncle Dan.

Saturday

We spent some time out by the pool.

There goes Odessa into the "deep" end.

Family Home Evening

For Family Home Evening we set up our
Little Christmas Tree.

Here is the finished product.

We put Kris Kringle on top.

This is our 2008 Little ornament.

This is our "special" 2008 Pickle ornament.

Turn out the lights and it is very festive.

Work Holiday Party

Last night we went to David's work,
for their Holiday Party.

We started out by playing in their Game Room.

Then we found our assigned seating for dinner.

Next, the girls sat with Santa.

Santa brought Adriana this Jewelry Kit.

Santa brought Alexis these Stilt Stompers.

Tattoos

For a Family Fun Night,
we gave eachother tattoos.

Alexis painted this Deer tattoo
on David's foot.

Alexis also painted this Heart tattoo
on Lori's back.

Lori painted this Gecko tattoo
on Adriana's back.

David painted this Animal tattoo
on Alexis' leg.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a Happy Thanksgiving...
Turkey Day...
Gobble, Gobble!

Adriana started out the day,
by making a sign for us all to enjoy.

We had our Pumpkin Turkey Centerpiece.

We had our Place Cards.

While Lori was cooking,
Adriana, David, and Papa worked on a puzzle.

Poor Alexis was sick all day long.

Grandparent's Day

Papa came for Grandparent's Day ,
which was the day before Thanksgiving.

Here is Papa with both girls.

Alexis stopped performing for a second,
to pose for a quick picture.

First, they made a pumpkin turkey,
for our Thanksgiving Dinner centerpiece.

Then, Papa traced Alexis' silhouette.

Next, they played the Penny Game (Mancala).

After that, they made Pomander Balls,
(these are oranges decorated with cloves).

They ended the festivities,
by making Place Cards for
our Thanksgiving Dinner table.

Alexis gave Papa a sticker for his nose,
and a kiss on his cheek...
"Thanks Papa".
